The Fraser Energy project, located in the Town of Hamden, Delaware County, New York, will become operational in 2028. EDF power solutions is developing this 120 MW x 4-hour duration battery energy storage system (BESS) project, located on approximately ten acres of land, which will interconnect to the NYSEG substation approximately one mile away from the proposed BESS parcel.
EDF power solutions is working in close coordination with the local community, Delaware County, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) and NYC Department of Environmental Protection (NYS DEP).
